Library Information and Resources for Faculty: Library Materials

Learn about how Jefferson Libraries can help students succeed by scheduling additional research and information literacy support for your classes.

Request Library Materials

We are always interested in faculty suggestions for books and media that would support class assignments, help with assignment preparation, and increase student learning. Due to budgetary restrictions it is extremely unlikely that we will add any magazine or journal subscriptions in the foreseeable future. Please send your requests to:

Nancy Mollette (Nancy.Mollette@kctcs.edu) for the Downtown Campus Library
                                                                     or
Rafe Johnson (Rafe.Johnson@kctcs.edu) for the Southwest Campus Library.

Request Books from Other Libraries

If a Jefferson Library does not have an item you require, you may be able to borrow it from another library through Interlibrary Loans.

Interlibrary Loan Request Form

Allow at least two weeks to receive the item. Depending upon availability of the item, it may take longer.

Usually there is no cost for interlibrary loans. If the item is available only from a library that charges a fee, the librarian will tell you of the cost before ordering the book.

If you lose, damage, or keep a book past the due date, you are responsible for fines or fees.
