Though some of your classes will not be meeting in person, Ask a Librarian is still be available for all students. You can call, text, email us, or even chat live with a librarian.
If you are trying to access a Learning Commons database and encounter an error, try clearing your cache or even using a different browser. Learn how to clear your cache on any device. Alternatively, if you are using Chrome or Firefox, here is a PowerPoint with detailed directions on how to clear your cache.

KCTCS has created a resource to help you navigate blackboard. There are links to videos on specific concerns you may have like submitting assignments or participating in class discussion boards.
Some students are struggling with Blackboard Collaborate because they need to clear their cache. Learn how to clear your cache in any browser or see the PowerPoint on clearing your cache in Chrome or Firefox. Also, Internet Explorer does not support Blackboard Collaborate so please pay attention to which browser your computer is attempting to use.

Jefferson students can receive mental health services through the The Spalding Center for Behavioral Health. The Spalding Center is still open via telehealth. You can request an appointment by emailing Megan at behavioralhealth@spalding.edu or through the Behavioral Health website.
WiFi is available in both the Downtown and Southwest Learning Commons during operating hours. WiFi is available in the student parking lot of the Downtown Campus. Access points are on each light pole. The tech campus has WiFi available in the faculty lot of Building B.
Many companies are offering coverage solutions for students throughout the nation as well.
Jefferson Community and Technical College is committed to providing quality services to students during this time of on-line learning and social distance.
