Single Sign-On Error

If you are trying to access a Learning Commons database and encounter an error, try clearing your cache or even using a different browser. Learn how to clear your cache on any device. Alternatively, if you are using Chrome or Firefox, here is a PowerPoint with detailed directions on how to clear your cache.

You can also use a private browsing window to access databases:

  • Chrome > Incognito window
  • Firefox > Private window
  • Edge/IE > InPrivate window

If the problem persists, please reach out to us through Ask a Librarian.

Using Blackboard

KCTCS has created a resource to help you navigate blackboard. There are links to videos on specific concerns you may have like submitting assignments or participating in class discussion boards.

Some students are struggling with Blackboard Collaborate because they need to clear their cache. Learn how to clear your cache in any browser or see the PowerPoint on clearing your cache in Chrome or Firefox. Also, Internet Explorer does not support Blackboard Collaborate so please pay attention to which browser your computer is attempting to use.

Online Services

There are many online services available for students during this time. Learn more about Online Services offered to Jefferson students.

Mental Health Services

Jefferson students can receive mental health services through the The Spalding Center for Behavioral Health. The Spalding Center is still open via telehealth. You can request an appointment by emailing Megan at behavioralhealth@spalding.edu or through the Behavioral Health website.
