Jefferson Community and Technical College is looking for a part-time Public Services Librarian or Library Assistant to work at the Downtown Campus (Louisville).

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Provide circulation assistance to students through the Alma integrated library system.
• Assist students with information seeking activities.
• Assist with general Library Services:
  • Reference/research assistance
  • Instructional tool creation.
    • LibGuides
    • Handouts
    • Infographics
• Assist with various Learning Commons Projects.

This position will work at the Downtown Campus Learning Commons (Louisville).  The position will provide the following opportunities.

• Gain experience in nearly every aspect of academic library work.
• Gain experience and knowledge of Ex Libris Alma integrated library system, Springshare, OCLC and a variety of content creation tools.
• Develop and build skills in a wide variety of library activities.
• Work closely with faculty and staff in an academic environment.
• Working closely with information seeking college students.
