A-Z Databases

Another alternative to finding affordable course material is our very own A-Z Databases. Jefferson has subscriptions to many general and subject-specific databases with access to articles from credible, well-known newspapers, magazines, and journals.

Interlibrary Loan

If a JCTC Learning Commons does not have an item you need, you might be able to borrow it from another library through Interlibrary Loan.

Interlibrary Loan Request Form

  • Allow at least two weeks to receive the item. It may take longer!
  • Usually there is no cost for interlibrary loans. If the item is available only from a library that charges a fee, the Learning Commons tell you the cost before ordering the book or materials.
  • If you lose, damage, or keep a book past the due date, you are responsible for fines or fees.

Request Library Materials

We are always interested in suggestions for books and media that:

  • Support class assignments
  • Help with assignment preparation
  • Increase student learning
