You can also reach out to the testing center at jf-testing-center@kctcs.edu or by calling (502) 213-7379.

Proctored Exams

The Testing Center can administer proctored exams throughout the year.

Reasons for a proctored exam may be, but are not limited to, when a student:

  • Misses a test or exam.
  • Needs to retake a midterm, final, or quiz.
  • Does not have the technology at home for the test, like a stable internet connection, computer or webcam.
  • Needs a more convenient location to take a test.

Scheduling a Proctored Exam

  1. Students must fill out the the Proctored Exam - Student Form
    • It is recommended to schedule at least 5 days in advance.
  2. Instructors must fill out the Proctored Exam - Instructor Form.
    • Information for proctored exams must be submitted at least 2 business days in advance of the testing date to jf-testing-center@kctcs.edu.
  3. The student will then be offered testing slots.

For additional information on testing, email jf-testing-center@kctcs.edu or call (502) 213-7379.

NOCTI

NOCTI capstone course exams take place 3-4 weeks before the end of the term and appointments are required. Students can schedule appointments at the Downtown campus or the Carrollton campus. Remote testing and testing outside of the assigned dates are possible only under exceptional circumstances, with approval from both the course instructor and the Testing Center Director. Remote testing has an additional $25 fee.

All appointments should be made at least 7 days in advance.

Be aware that the exam is 3 hours long, so plan accordingly.
