The Learning Commons will be closed for Memorial Day 5/31.
Ask a Librarian and Tutoring will resume on June 1st.

Places to Study

College Learning Commons can be busy, yet they are still the best places to study and get assignments done. If you find the main area of the Learning Commons too noisy and it distracts you from your work, ask a staff member to help you find a quieter place to study.

Technology

Computer access is available in all of Jefferson’s Learning Commons. Access does require a KCTCS user name and password.

IDs & TARC Passes

Student or Faculty Photo ID cards serve as your JCTC library card or a community patron card.

Photo ID cards are made at the Downtown, Southwest, and Bullitt Learning Commons.

IDs on extended campuses can be found in the following places:

  • Tech campus - Building B, Room 109F
  • Carrollton - Reception Area
  • Shelby - Admin Office, Room 118A

Community patrons please ask about community patron cards at the Downtown or Southwest circulation desk.

TARC passes are distributed at the central service desks Downtown and at Southwest. You'll need your student ID and a current schedule to get a TARC pass.
