Types of Props

  • Stuffed Animals/Puppets
  • Games
  • Songs
  • Magnets

There are tons of different options. Be creative!

When and Where to Use Them

Stuffed animals can be used and passed around throughout the entire story time; just make sure that kiddos don't become too distracted by the toy. These props can help children visualize the story.

Puzzles and games can work along side a story as well as before or after a story to reinforce a theme or idea within a story.

Songs and movement can help attract energy and maintain focus.
