Looking for more information? Here are some resources provided by the Learning Commons to help with writing academic essays:

  • Ask A Librarian: Call, chat, or email with any related questions during available hours and a JCTC librarian will work to guide you in your assignment.
  • Schedule a tutoring appointment: Receive in-person or online tutoring help for the writing and research process.
  • Brainfuse tutoring: As a JCTC student, you also have access to Brainfuse, a 24/7 tutoring center with a live chat and writing lab. Please note, these tutors are not from Jefferson.
  • Submit-it tutoring: This asynchronous tutoring allows you to upload your writing and assignment for written feedback. You do not meet with the tutor, but they will send the feedback to your student email.
