Coursera

Coursera offers online courses from a variety of universities. Coursera provides two types of certificates: a Statement of Accomplishment (Honor Code Track), which is free, and a Verified Certificate (Signature Track), which requires a registration fee. Most courses have both options.

Online Grammar Checks

Microsoft Word as well as several websites offer spelling and grammar checking. However, these programs can be dimwitted when it comes to the nuances of the English language. It may tell you that a word is spelled correctly when you really need a different word. And according to grammar.yourdictionary.com, "one recent study comparing the effectiveness of common grammar checkers found that these programs will typically miss" very common grammar errors.
