The What, How, and Why of Tutoring

Take advantage of our free tutoring services, available to currently enrolled Jefferson students across Jefferson campuses. Work together with a tutor in a supportive environment to strengthen your understanding of course materials, writing, research, study skills, Blackboard and computers, and reading.

How Does Tutoring Work?

Tutoring sessions are active and collaborative. You and the tutor will work together on the topic that you want to discuss. They work with you, rather than doing your work for you. Depending on the subject you would like to work on, you will be paired with one of our peer, librarian, adjunct faculty or faculty tutors.
