Internet Access

WiFi is available in both the Downtown and Southwest Learning Commons during operating hours.  WiFi is available in the student parking lot of the Downtown Campus. Access points are on each light pole. The tech campus has WiFi available in the faculty lot of Building B. 


Many companies are offering coverage solutions for students throughout the nation as well.

There are many brands of internet browser! Each browser is unique and has a different use.

-Seemingly a more advanced browser option, but actually just as simple to use!

-Standard browser that comes with all Microsoft computers

-Updated version of "Internet Explorer"

-Not the best browser, most people don't really use this one

-Standard browser that comes with all Apple computers/products

-Does all the things that other browsers do

-Great browser if you have apple accounts (super convenient)

Popup Blockers

Pop-up Blockers getting in the way of what you need to do?
(this is a common issue with Blackboard)

-Open Menu Button (three bars) in the upper-right corner

-Click Options

-Select Privacy & Security on the left

-Scroll down until you see Block pop-up windows

-Uncheck Block pop-up windows to disable the pop-up blocker

-Click the Chrome menu button (upper-right corner, three dots)

-Select Settings

-From the left side menu, choose Privacy and Security, then click Site Settings

-Scroll down

-Click Pop-ups and Redirects

-Click to change Blocked to Allowed

-Open the Menu (three dots in the top right corner)

-Click Privacy and Security on the side menu

-Scroll down until you see Security, Block pop-ups

-Click to turn off

-Click the Safari menu

-Select Preferences from the drop-down

-Click Websites

-Click Pop-up Windows located on the left side

-Click the drop-down next to Lexis Advance and select Allow
