Social Media can be stressful!

A woman sits at her computer feeling sorry for herself because social media is making her life feel inadequate.

Creating awareness with simple questions can help you grow into a more savvy internet user. Ask yourself these questions about social media use:
  • What do I do while I’m on this app?
  • Does it bring me joy, laughter, stress, anger?
  • Does it add value to my life? How?
  • Am I making meaningful connections here?
  • Does this account make me feel like I need to be someone I’m not?
  • Am I comparing my life, body or success with others?

There has never been a time in history where being individually YOU is more accepted, be who you are and you will become who you want to be. Be brave enough to set the example of what is means to be confident, happy, and aware of YOURSELF!

Mental Health Awareness

Remember, Social Media and the Internet is a public space. Just like interacting in real life, being aware of how different situations make you feel is very important. Taking care of yourself starts with being aware of your Mental Health. If you or someone you know needs help, PLEASE REACH OUT!

Social Media and Happiness

Social Media and your Career!

Social Media is public, even if you have a private profile, there are several things that you never want to do online:

  • Complain about your job, coworkers, customers/clients, or your boss.
  • Sharing your latest job offer, things like that need to be discrete and professional - for your current and future employer.
  • Posting tasteless comments and bullying.
  • Inappropriate photos: alcohol, drugs, or sexy photos.
